Here are some Tipster statistics ("statipstics") for the curious or bored...

Of the 50 matches before the final of Euro 2024:

Correct Score:
The Correct Score was tipped in 28 matches. At 56%, this is only slightly lower than the 57% success rate from Euro 2020.
The match with the most tips for the correct Score was Germany - Denmark, with 8 people tipping 2:0 for Germany. At Euro 2021, the match with the most tips for the correct Score was England - Denmark, and in the 2018 World Cup, Denmark were also involved in one of the two matches with the most tips for the correct Score.

Correct Margin:
The Correct Margin was tipped in 36 matches (72%, which is the highest percentage since I've been keeping records). Nine people correctly tipped England to beat Slovakia, as well as France to beat Belgium, by one goal.

Correct Outcome:
There were 3 matches for which nobody tipped the correct Outcome: Belgium - Slovakia, Georgia - Czechia, and Georgia - Portugal. This is better than in Euro 2021, when there were 5 matches in which nobody tipped the correct Outcome.
There were also 3 matches in which only one person tipped the correct Outcome: Croatia - Albania (Soeren), France - Poland (El-Hinny), and Austria - Turkey (Ozren).

First Scorer:
The correct First Scorer was tipped in 20 matches. The most popular correct choice was the Denmark - England game, in which 11 people tipped Harry Kane to score first.

Closest Time:
The Closest Time was tipped by two people in 8 matches. For the Croatia - Albania match, three people - Joe, Ozren and Ralph - tipped the closest Time (4 minutes out).
The exact Time was tipped in 8 different matches (Ralph achieved this twice). The worst winning Time was tipped by Christian in the Scotland - Hungary match (18 minutes out).

Points:
The game which yielded the most points was Germany - Hungary, with a total of 164 points being scored in that match. There were no games in which no points were scored. The Belgium - Slovakia games yielded the fewest points, just 3 (for the closest Time).
Euro 2024 yielded an average of 69.5 points per match, 4.5 more than in Euro 2021.

Goals:
The most goals were tipped for the Portugal - Czechia match, with 103 goals tipped in total (58 of them for Portugal), while 102 were tipped for the opening Germany - Scotland match (60 for Germany).

The 79 goals tipped for Portugal in their match against Georgia was the highest number of goals predicted for one team. With just 8 goals tipped for Georgia, this match also had the greatest delta between the goals tipped for two teams. Georgia actually won that game.

The smallest delta was just 1 goal, and occurred in 5 matches: Slovakia - Ukraine, Belgium - Romania, Denmark - Serbia, England - Slovakia, and Austria - Turkey.

The fewest goals were tipped for England - Slovakia and Romania - Netherlands, with just 59 goals tipped for each game. The fewest goals tipped for any team was 8 for Georgia against Portugal, and 8 for Romania against the Netherlands.

Day 5 Scoreboard

At the end of Day 5, Markus remains in 1st place with 70 points. Tino enjoyed a much better day than Day 4, gaining 20 points, and reclaims 2nd place from Ralph on 56 points, followed by Chris on 53 and Christian on 50 points. Four people remain tied on 48 points, and just 11 points separate Christian in 5th place from Christine and Franz in 19th place. Day 5's winner was André, who gained 17 points, moving him up from 17th to 9th place. Day 21 Scoreboard

After 3 weeks of Tipster fun, Christian moves into un unassailable position at the top of the table: 25 points clear with just one game to go. 2nd-placed Ferdi and 3rd-placed Chris both tipped Netherlands - England to draw 1:1 and gained zero points today, remaining on 196 and 195 points respectively. This allowed Markus to catch up with them, and with 193 points, there are are just 3 points separating 2nd place from 4th place. 5th-placed Ben with 189 is only 8 points ahead of 8th-placed Tino on 181. In 9th place, Ralph has 176 points, 11 ahead of El-Hinny in 14th place with 165 points. Franz, in 15th place, has 158 points, 16 ahead of Cup-Finalist Soeren in 18th place with 142 points. There was no clear winner today, with six people scoring 10 points from today's game. The winners from the Semi-Finals were Joe and Markus, who both gained a very impressive 20 points from the two matches. Just one game to go, with a potential 16 points still to be won.... ...

Day 3 Scoreboard

At the end of Day 3, Markus leads the Scoreboard with 48 points, followed by Tino on 45 and Ralph on 41. Robert and Christian are tied on 38 points while Craig, Joris and Franzi are level with 37. Amir brings up the rear with 5 points after only tipping the Germany-Scotland match. Just fifteen points separate 5th place from 18th place, so a lot can change in the next few days.
